Alipurduar District Convention of WBSGEF

A grand convention of West Bengal State Government Employee's Federation of Alipurduar District had been held on 20th December 2015 at Alipurduar Municipal Hall,Alipurduar.

About 1200 State Government employees from different State Govt. offices had joined the convention as delegates. The convention was inaugurated by the Cheif Guest Mr.Sourabh Chakraborty,the Chairman of NBSTC and the president of Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar district TMC.


Mr.Atul Suba,Vice Chairman of Alipurduar District Zila Parishad was also present in the convention. While delivering speech Mr. Chakraborty mentioned the day as Historic and openly approved the Convention as official convention under TMC. Also he explained about the need of co-ordination with State Govt.Employees to succeed on various projects announced by the Chief Minister and TMC supremo Ms.Mamta Banerjee.

After Mr.Chakraborty second speaker was Mr.Atul Suba who also told that a long pending step has been materialized in favor of public through this co-ordination with the Govt. employees and hoped here after projects announced by the state Govt. will be expedited. A new district committee of the Federation was announced in the meeting unanimously. Another TMC leader Mr.Mridul Goswami from Alipurduar was also present in the convention apart from Federation leaders.
There were some cultural activities consisting the program.
